Jim Janek ![]() The backbone of HealthTrust is our Clinical Advisory Boards, National Agreements and Member Services Team. The Advisory Boards provide critical feedback on the practical usability and desirability of all products and services in our portfolio, as well as potential product offerings. Armed with their input, the National Agreements Team can better negotiate for the most appropriate contracts needed by our members. Once a contract is awarded, our Member Services Team works diligently with each member to ensure a smooth contract implementation. Advisory BoardsHealthTrust has 8 full-time Advisory Boards seeking clinical and operational input from our members to facilitate contract strategy, negotiation and implementation. National AgreementsOur National Agreements Team, due to the significance we place on well-negotiated and implemented contracts, has our largest concentration of staff. They gather clinical input from our Advisory Boards, financial analysis from the Financial Operations Team, and operational input from our Member Services Team and incorporates it into their contract strategy, negotiation and implementation. The result is industry-leading vendor relationships offering high-quality products and services at cost-effective prices. Members ServicesMember Services, next to National Agreements, is one of our largest teams. Their initial mission is to create a customized transition plan for new HealthTrust members onto our contract portfolio. Once implemented, the team proactively works with each member to ensure they are maximizing all appropriate contracts for pricing, rebates and value adds. Sales and MarketingWe attract prospective members through the continuous efforts of our Sales and Marketing Team -- the frontline gateway into HealthTrust. Increased membership not only reflects the overall desirability of our portfolio, but also means greater selection and price back to the membership at large. Additionally, this team reinforces to members the services provided by HealthTrust staff and our vendor community. CommunicationsOur Communications Team gathers input from our members, vendors and other healthcare resources and then distributes that most appropriate. Pertinent information may include vendor launch packages, updates on contracted products and services, responses to customer service issues and much, much more. Customer ServiceWhen an inquiry arises, our Customer Service Team is the most critical area of HealthTrust. They receive, track and respond to any issue or question and coordinate with the relevant parties for immediate and effective resolution. HealthTrust Audit ServiceIn order to ensure pricing accuracy to our members, completeness of a vendor's membership list, and accuracy of rebate and admin payments, HealthTrust has a team solely charged with conducting vendor audits. Vendor selection criteria includes spend with the vendor, pricing complexity, previous audit findings, and the time period since the last audit. Audit findings are remitted back to each member. In addition to the audits, HealthTrust also conducts vendor Accounts Receivable reviews to determine any credits that our members may have with a vendor. HealthTrust then helps ensure that our members are aware of and utilize these credits. Financial OperationsOur Financial Operations Team, an experienced group of CPAs, financial and systems analysts, serve two functions within HealthTrust. In the forefront is their coordination with the National Agreements Team to assess the financial viability of potential vendors during the contract negotiation process. They also perform the traditional fiscal and accounting processes needed to maintain HealthTrust's balance sheet. LegalOur Legal Team is growing, partly due to increased membership demands, but also because of the scrutiny of legal contracts required in today's environment. They interface with new members when signing onto our GPO and with the National Agreements Team for review of potential vendor contract terms. |
